40+ Years of Building Dominica
NDFD continues to serve thousands of Dominican households and enterprises, advancing Dominica's vision of becoming the world's first climate-resilient nation.
Our Four Pillars
NDFD's work is anchored by four strategic priorities that guide every loan, programme, and partnership.
Ensuring all Dominicans — including rural, vulnerable, and under-banked populations — have access to responsible financial services.
Empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises with the capital and technical support they need to scale and compete.
Embedding climate-smart financing and post-disaster recovery support into all NDFD programmes and loan products.
Investing in housing, agriculture, and local enterprise to build thriving, self-sufficient communities across Dominica.
Leadership Team
NDFD is guided by an experienced team of development finance professionals, department managers, and a dedicated Board of Directors.
Governance & Compliance
NDFD operates under a robust governance framework guided by its Articles of Incorporation, board-approved policies, and the regulatory requirements of the Government of Dominica. Our board of directors provides strategic oversight, while independent audits ensure financial transparency.
Annual General Meetings are held each year, with all stakeholders invited to review performance, receive audited financial statements, and engage with management. All AGM and audit reports are made available in our Resources repository.
